It all began for me in 1996, when surgical department was added to the Obstetrics and Gynecological Department of Dixit Hospital.
I adore what Colin Powell says about success, that "There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure." And after 18years of such commitment and support from Dr. Asha Dixit, my co-partner, wife and my pillar of strength and the dedication of my staff, we began a new journey with a new name DIXIT HOSPITAL AND HARSHAI IVF centre, a 50 bedded hospital, on new premises with the addition of Advanced IVF department and Advanced Laparoscopy to our services and development of Surgical Department, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, Paediatric Department, Advanced Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, Therma-ablation, TVT-O etc.
We know Walt Disney as the gods of the Cartoon Looney kingdom since the ages we have lived through and they once rightly said, "The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." Although I am fond of talking too, but yes the quote is beautifully inspiring and a truth to achieve the success we strive for. Ideas, I believe, have the power to pull your world together in a sense of wisdom and courage. Along the trail of work experience, I began working more on my different ideas, coming up with new designs of equipment for the ease of use during my surgical practice. This was an immensely awakening experience. Also, I love the idea of having a fit mind and body and have thus incorporated a gym in our premises and keep encouraging my staff to spend some time on health and strength. I know making people reach a gym is a task in itself, and hence have made it a point to be the change that I wish to see in them.
I have always believed that you can never succeed alone. You need the support as strong as a family for that and this is what DIXIT HOSPITAL AND HARSHAI IVF and its staff haven been to me, “My Family”. My journey has been really marvellous with the development of the departments, the growth, the failures, the learnings throughout the process and an amazing set of staff who have been there by my side through our ups and downs!
My vision is to keep growing as an institute of ethical practice, with expert clinical service, dedicated and skilled staff provision and an individualised care facility which caters to the needs of all our patients in a compassionate manner.
