Whenever patients come to me, they always have a level of stress which is quite natural. If you have anybody related issues which start interfering in your daily activities, it definitely induces some level of stress. But in a few cases, it can turn into depression. So, all I try very first is counseling because if we manage stress well, recovery turns faster!
I am a physical therapist, so my job is to treat people through models of exercise, yoga and other physical activity. It helps patients both physically and mentally. The release of “endorphins” eases your stress level and reduces anxiety. It also improves sleep and immunity.

Many of my patients now have a habit of doing early morning exercises prescribed and few perform yoga. Not only have I observed a remarkable physical improvement in their body but also a remarkable change in their behaviour. Hence, exercise definitely improve your physical health but it also makes you healthy at your MENTAL level.
Chuck Norris has beautifully said, “Exercise, prayer, and meditation are examples of calming rituals. They have been shown to induce a happier mood and provide a positive pathway through life's daily frustrations.”
